Text Box: Contract to Purchase This contract is entered into and is between the undersigned Rocking R Ranch hereby known as “Seller” and the purchaser hereby known as “Buyer”. This contract sets forth the rights and responsibilities of the parties contained within. The buyer agrees to pay the seller the sum of $ _________ as a security deposit to hold for the buyer a ______________ AKC Registered Labrador puppy of the __________ sex. The buyer further agrees to pay the seller the balance of $ __________ at the time of delivery or shipment plus shipping cost of $_________ which includes the cost of the shipping crate. It is understood that the buyer must pick-up the puppy by the close of business (4:00pm EST) on or before the _______ Day of ________ 200__. Buyer further acknowledges that failure to take possession of the puppy by the specified date WILL result in the forfeiture of the buyer’s security deposit. Any and all prior arrangements to the contrary must be in writing and annotated in the comment section of this contract. Seller agrees to deliver to the buyer a healthy pup given its first set of shots and wormed, free of any life threatening congenital defect. Pups must be vet checked within 7 days of delivery and determined to be unhealthy by a Licensed Veterinarian and have signed documentation. Seller is not responsible for any shipping cost or vet bills incurred  by Buyer as a result of the contract. Seller advises that the pup will come with an Application for Registration into the American Kennel Club. Cost of transfer and registration will be the responsibility of the buyer. Payments may be made by Personal check, but will be subject $ 45.00 dollar returned check fee.       Puppies commonly have worms and other parasites such as Coccida, these conditions are                           considered routine maintenance and does not constitute an unhealthy pup. Puppies being               shipped via public transportation WILL be given a parvo test at new owners expense.________ This contract shall be governed by the Laws of the State of Ohio and shall not be transferable by the buyer without written approval of the seller. Contract is herby executed as of the date signed by the Seller. Contract is hereby entered into, willingly and without duress by either party.
